SEED COURSE 101 is a one week course designed to expose participants to the five functional areas of a seed company (R&D, production, operations, sales and marketing and administration). By creating a virtual seed company and case studies for each functional area, the course content is delivered in a interactive way.
Private Seed Sector
There are 85 private seed companies are involving in seed business. 20 of them are found involving
mainly on import seed, 37 seed companies concerning mainly on export seed and 28 seed companies
involving both import and export seed. It is only 30% of those seed companies have invested in the
business on import and export at the value of investment more than 10 million baht which most of
them are foreign seed companies.
